The main reason I bought this card reader is for the long cable. All the other card readers are for laptops so they don’t have a cable. The longer cable allows me to plug it into the back of my desktop and leave it there. Not have it dangling from the front of my PC where it can be bumped and damaged. I use a desktop PC because and I need a real memory card, not a mini version like like the ones in some laptops

  2. Patrick

Recently purchased this and it does a way better job than the last one I bought. Super easy to connect to your computer, lights up so you know it’s working. Photos transferred from my compact flash card to the computer quickly. Overall, great product and I’m looking forward to buy a second one for the office.

I have performed hundreds of transfers and never get any trouble with this card reader. No need to do crazy installations, just plug and play. I shoot with a Canon camera and Raw files are very heavy. This memory reader makes a good job!

Had a problem when my camera suddenly became ‘invisible’ when trying to download photos. After trying all sorts of suggested solutions that had no effect whatsoever, I bought this gadget to read the card instead and problem solved! Downloads quickly and efficiently, good value for money. Very pleased with my purchase.

I needed the longer cord as I had to use an usb input on the back of my computer. Only bad thing was there’s no grippy surface on this thing. I have to hold it to insert SD card.
So I glued a small square of handle bar tape on it.

This is by far the fastest card reader that I have ever owned and having taken photos for over 20 years with digital cameras I have owned quite a few. The build quality is excellent and you have a reassuring light on the front which indicated that your cards are being read. I Highly recommend this reader.
