This adapter allows me to use my older headsets with 3.5mm plugs that I used with my previous iPhone with my new iPhone which has only a lightning connection port. This saves me the expense of having to buy new earbuds and headsets that only work with my new iPhone!!!

Not putting away my favorite pair of headphones just because iPhone only have one port. This a a great accessory for using your wired 3.5mm plug headphones and to charge your phone. Love to use it at night when the phone battery is about to die.
